    Did you start this string for me? How kind.

    Cause you know Rush is No. 1 on my list, and there is no Nos. 2 or 3.
    Next would be Todd Schnitt, of the Schnitt Show (South Florida, 3-6 p.m. ... but also available nationally on ClearChannel). Schnitt knocks the socks off Mitch Albom, who I listened to for many moons.

    The worst? Randi Rhodes. What a CUNextTuesday.

    As far as sports radio? Don't care. Don't listen to it. Drivel from start to finish, and mostly unimportant. Wait ... strike the 'mostly' from that previous sentence.

    As he's aged, Tony's become more and more of an old bitch, when forced to fly solo.

    It isn't flattering.

    Not in the least.

    I'll give you that. But I find many of his non-rant moments to be quite funny. And when he's not ranting and not trying to be funny, I often find him to be thoughtful, sincere and passionate. Pretty much never about sports, though.
