I think it's wrong to mix tomato juice and beer. It's just not right.

I don't understand why people want to mix anything with beer. Irish car bombs, the spicy red-head...

Give me a beer. Plain and simple, just the way it was meant to be.

I don't know if this is new or not, but the other day in a convenience store they were selling 24-ounce cans of Bud Light combined with Clamato, which is apparently tomato juice with clam sauce, or something. It was an official Budweiser product.

I got one as a joke for my wife, who used to drink what she called "red beers" occasionally, but she hasn't touched it.

Thanks to some of you who were smart enough to bring this thread around to where it belongs... the red-headed women. I'm going to Google Images now...

No.........I've been drinking red beers for many years, but had never put the tabasco in until recently.

Previous Red-Beers: Beer, Tomato Juice, Pepper

New Red-Beers: Beer, Tomato Juice, Tabasco, Pepper

    Here's an idea.

Instead of mixing beer and clam juice/tomato juice/Tabasco -- which weren't meant to go together under any circumstances not involving a fraternity pledge -- why don't you take tomato/clam juice, Tabasco and Pepper and mix it with.... wait, it's coming to me, the word starts with a 'V'...

YES, GOT IT! VODKA! Now, I could be wrong here, but I think they call it a "Bloody Mary." Or with clam juice, a "Bloody Caesar."

It tastes a lot better, Chef. Trust me on this. ;)
