Depends on how pissy MLS wants to get about insisting on a new stadium, which is a touchy subject for taxpayers up there.

A SSS (soccer-specific stadium) or at least plans thereof are basically sine qua non for MLS expansion these days, though I'd read that FCC's plan on that was to just build the thing on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River.

What the hell am I watching? Chile dominates possession, but either can't get a shot off or makes some weak attempt. Then, Germany scores on probably the worst defensive play I have seen short of an own-goal.

Fun first half. Chile plays with such pressing intensity.

Is the Chile back line always this shitty?

Chile are just very... offensive minded. They are the anti-Paraguay.

Every athlete has the right to end on their own terms, but it is a little depressing that John Terry would go to Aston Villa after 22 years at Chelsea.

Tepid performance by the USA yesterday. Surpisingly unorganized defense and no one controlled the middle.

He was a heck of a player at his best. Always gave full effort for club and country and could boss a game. Whether because of fitness, lifestyle, overuse or some combination of all 3, he hit the wall physically over the past 3 seasons and simply could not keep up with the pace of the game.

It's going to be so weird to see him in a different uni next season
