I watched Swindon and Brighton HA for the first half play to a 0-0 draw...then Coldcat showed up and we went to lunch...I get back and it's 3-0. But was decent from what I saw. Found a few Sky Sports streams, hopefully they stick around for the whole season.

I have a bad feeling about Wednesday's match at Azteca. I'm thinking USMNT loses 3-0.

I'm calling 1-1. Nobody is going all out on this one with club season ready to go. The days of the brutal USA-Mex friendlies are over.

Pompey held out at 1-0 a lot of the way before losing 3-0. They've also now seen the only real candidate to buy the club -- the same jackass who's bought it twice already -- withdraw, leaving only a supporters' trust in the frame.

Game of the round had to be Derby 5-5 Sc*nthorpe, though.

Breaking from Oliver Kay of the Times of London on Twitter: Man U has agreed on a deal to sign RVP from Arsenal.

An odd move considering Man Yoo already has Rooney and Kagawa, who do their best work behind the striker, as well as Welbeck and Hernandez. Have to wonder if this was a move as much to make sure Van Persie didn't go elsewhere in England.

Also odd because they need help at the back more than at the front.

I just threw up in my mouth.

    Isn't Rooney a striker?

And, will RVP play forward while Rooney plays behind him?

So no Dempsey, no Bradley, no Boca, any chance?

Mexico pretty much dominating so far with no score.

Will also be nice to see a hopefully healthy Stuart Holden this season.

    Cameron looks good so far.

I've never seen that many empty seats in Azteca. Good gosh.
