    It wouldn't surprise me to see a Kansas City United or a Kansas City FC/SC. I'm not big on the "United" name, but I'd understand why they would do it, if they actually did.

    I'm resigned to Maicon leaving and I could deal with Balotelli.. but Sneijder to United would thoroughly piss me off.

    Having said that, I would be very surprised to see it happen.

    Getting ready for my own season opener, Havant & Waterlooville at home to what's always dubbed a "Portsmouth XI." Which means, essentially, 11 guys who happen to be on the books and don't have a good enough excuse to get out of it.

    Actually, they've usually brought halfway decent sides to play H&W. But I think they only have 22 on the books right now. That American tour should be a blast. Hope no one's paying decent money to watch them.
