I'll throw one of these up every few weeks and vary the question. PLEASE read it carefully. This one asks which candidate will get your vote

We'll do these as long as the assholes don't get out of hand and ruin it for everyone. In which case we'll go back to no politics.

For these threads, vote and tell us how you voted and why. One sentence. Don't quote another post, don't debate another answer. Essentially, you get one vote and one post on this thread. Some of you didn't read that part on the first poll.

    We thank you in advance.

Could we get an Undecided option for us equivocators? I'll sacrifice my post to pose the question.

Romney, with a clothespin clamped firmly on my nose -- not much difference between the two, though.

Obama -- I would be looking Republican if the GOP was in the mold of the late '80s H.W. days, but they have gone far far off the deep end.

Maybe on next one - we'll do others.

Obama. I fear the idea of the GOP taking Congress if Romney were in charge because the fringe could push through their ideas as "mainstream," and as screwed up as the economy was when Obama took over, I feel he's done a good job getting things moving toward a total recovery. (Do compound sentences count as one sentence?)

Obama, but only because there's no other options for me.

Let me explain. I've voted in every presidential election since 1992, and because I feel the only "wasted votes" are those cast for candidates you don't believe in, I've always voted for Green Party or various socialist candidates for president.

But because the state I live in for the 2012 election (Idaho) is so far to the right politically, the Democrats "are" the left wing party. There's no Green Party here; the third party choices are libertarians or Constitution party types.

So I guess I'm all aboard the Obama express. Hopefully he'll stick to his principles more in term No. 2 and not cave in to Republicans on every important issue.

Obama - I hope he grows a backbone if he wins a second term.

Obama. I am definitely intrigued by Romney, but he seems a little too scattered for me to vote for him.
