The Rescue of the Chilean Miners

    I gotta say, I miss my family like mad eight hours a day when I'm at an office literally seven minutes from my house. I can't imagine being away from my wife and kids for 70 days, while spending that time in a humidor with 30 stinking male coworkers.

    I think, IJAG, they sent supplies down throughout the ordeal to keep them as "normal" as possible. I think.

    They've been sending supplies down via some holes they drilled.

    The Chilean President is going to be a huge hero in all of this.

    And, not to get too jingoistic, but it's pretty cool that American drillers -- as well as NASA and others -- played a big role in this.

    The head driller is an American that they flew in from Afghanistan.

    It's a conspiracy to promote Chilean tourism. They haven't really been stuck in a mine. That, or they sent down some Bic razors and shaving cream somewhere along the way.
