Simmons was right on when he called Goodell a liar and it's nice that he didn't equivocate like most NFL pundits have.

As others have noted, the only way Goodell did not see the video is if he willfully ignored it and that, to me, is the same or worse.

 

He took a very strong stand after hundreds of other media members had. Heroic.

 

Or if the chief of security didn't show it to him to give his boss cover.

 

Goodell has to fire him or it's an implicit admission that his security chief did exactly what Goodell wanted him to do.

For the love of stupidity, ANYONE who has been in a casino KNOWS there are cameras in the elevators. There are those who saw it and are simply lying that they didn't. And I believe the lies start at the top of the food chain. Paging Roger Goddell.
