    McCotter's district extends into one of our papers' coverage areas (we've got three in the same office). The guy's an eccentric goofball. At least he'll be entertaining to cover in this race!

    If you're a low-level U.S. pol, running for President is one excellent way to raise your profile. Now that Newt's imploded, there's space to fill on the cable news screamfests for an aspiring GOP talker.
