    Concur.
After 2, I was predicting 79-76. Wheels down by 5pm EST Friday.
Battled back, and played very well. Probably turned 66 into 69.

  2. On the way into work this morning radio updated Tiger's score at +1 through nine. I got to the office checked the leaderboard online, saw Tiger had moved up some more and Rory was playing well. I brought up the Open home page, watched video from holes 14, 15 and 16 and listened to the radio broadcast the rest of the day.
    And it's only Thursday.

LIVE golf at 3am. I love it.

  4. No 1 is a bitch for Tiger. Opens with a double bogey.

  5. Rory is wearing it out today.
Tiger ... Not so much.. started +3 and has is holding.

I'm not watching -- I'm at work -- but I just glanced at the leaderboard and it appears Tiger is outside the cut line at 3-over -- 6-over for the day.

Meanwhile, Old Tom Watson is poised to make the cut at plus-2.

ESPN's obsession continues unabated, however. The headline right now is ... "Tiger Saves Himself."

He squeaked in and made the cut, and trails by a mere 14 strokes.

  8. He must have shit the bed over the last three holes. He was even for the tourney when he walked off 15.

    I think he triple-bogeyed 17.

I know he birdied 18 -- his only birdie of the day -- to make the cut.

Nice round for Mr. Gretzky today. Keeping Rory from running away with it and is in position if Rory craters again.

Must be a lot of you pissed off that Tiger didn't miss the cut?!?!

    Triple on 17.

Drove it way left out of bounds. Re-teed. Drove it way right into the shit. Muscled it up short of the green. Hit a terrible chip that left him no chance. Lagged a 40 footer with six feet of break to around three feet. Triple bogey.

He hit five drivers today. Missed five fairways, played those holes in +6.

Nearly snapped his wedge in half in anger walking up 16.

He's nowhere close, which is to be expected, but that didn't stop people from suggesting after round 1 that he could win this Open. Sigh.
