I wake up every day and can see the statue of liberty from my apartment... And I think it's the coolest thing on earth... But am I the only person who thinks it doesn't belong anywhere near those other "wonders"?

One interesting thing about the Statue of Liberty to me. I know more people in NY and who grew up around NY who have never been there than I do people who have visited... even though it is as easy as hopping on a ferry. Goes to show that people never appreciate the things that are in their backyards.

    Mount Rushmore is a wonder.

The Statue of Liberty is just that, a statue.

You can say that again. I grew up right outside of Washington, DC but never visited the White House while it was open for tourists.

Eiffel Tower? I find the Notre Dame much more impressive when you think of the size of the building, and when it was built.
