    If they aren't being "cutesy" why do they need to make the announcement during prime time from a hotel in Pasadena? Seems like a simple press release would do the job.

    So instead of FBS, we have what now? FCS-Lite? FRCS?

    Since this is going to be the Nick Saban Invitational anyway, they should go with the first logo. It brings back faint memories of the All American Bowl.
