The answer here is fairly simple: do what's best for the girl. I'm sure there's some way to find her a safe home somewhere in the Lawrence area, if that is the best option for her. Let her stay in Lawrence while her brother either finishes his education or gets himself in position for the NBA draft.

Looks like the NCAA has approved Kansas to pay for Jayla Robinson to move to Lawrence, pending legal matters.

If you think Bill Self is running a squeaky clean program, I have some oceanfront property to sell you in Lawrence.

Does any major college coach run a squeaky clean program?

The lack of institutional control charge stemmed from multiple violations across multiple programs, with the football team racking up the most charges. Blame for that should be placed at the feet of Al Bohl and his intentionally understaffed compliance office.

The only one of the charges pinned on Roy Williams was his knowledge that a a few boosters were giving small gifts to graduating players. Something he claimed to believe was OK, and if that's true, should've been caught by an adequately staffed compliance office.

I'm just glad the NCAA make the exceptions in this situation. What a sad situation.

Robinson got a nice standing ovation when he entered tonight's game, got a much better when he left after a 17-point, nine-rebound performance during KU's 90-66 win against K-State.

ESPN erred, though, cutting to a commercial break during a substitution in the last final minutes when Robinson came out of the game. Guess they felt it was more important for us to know about that Celtics-Lakers game tomorrow on ABC for the zillionth time than seeing a good moment on the court.
