Seems like the richest owners in baseball want DC to pony up a few hundred million dollars to put a roof on Nationals Ballpark. That AFTER the city basically gave them one of the sweetest heart deals ever.

The Lerners treat DC baseball fans with as much or more contempt than Dan Snyder does Redskins fans. Shesh.

Screw 'em. Tell them to go back to Montreal if they don't like it, they have a roof over the stadium there. It's bleepin' baseball.

They need the roof to shield fans from the elements during all those World Series games they'll be playing.

The best thing that could happen to America would be for the obstructionist Congress to take about a 5-year holiday vacation..... maybe things would actually get accomplished if they weren't so busy debating why it can't work.

They're worried they'd have to shut down Strasburg because he might catch a cold.

The Post reported that the Nats owner tried to pitch the idea of the roof earlier this year, and the mayor shut him down pretty quickly.
