In the spirit of this story on Slate ...

... I'll throw out the question, What movie have you watched obsessively? What movie do you have to see once a year, what's the first one you bought on DVD, the one you get out on a rainy day to make yourself feel better?

    Me? Casablanca, definitely.

Dodgeball and Something About Mary are ones I have watched several times. I watch Kentucky Fried Movie whenever I find out it is on.

So if it were on, would you want someone to post a movie alert thread?

I've probably seen Fletch or Caddyshack more than anything else -- thanks to countless viewings in high school -- but Goodfellas might be my go-to movie.

Full Metal Jacket, Blazing Saddles, Pulp Fiction and Spinal Tap are up there as well. And the documentary Comedian, with Seinfeld, is something I watch at least part of a couple of times a month.

I don't know which I've seen the most now--with DVDs it's hard to remember. But I do know which I saw most BEFORE movies were out on video and DVD: Animal House. I saw it 9 times in theaters while I was in college.

Impressive. I sat through The Empire Strikes Back three times in a row when it first came out.
