    With all the talent on the Herald's sports staff over the past 25 or 30 years -- Pope, Rubin, Cote, Price, LeBatard, Salguero, among others -- Linda probably has flown a bit under the radar. But I've always thought she's done consistently good work and has shown a lot of versatility. I didn't agree with her post-Hurricane Andrew column, but she was entitled to her opinion and deserved kudos for taking a strong stand, if nothing else. The inaccurate story was unfortunate, but should not detract from her overall body of work over many years.
