The 6U Mariners, that is. Little Man, in his second season of T-ball, got to experience a victory for the first time ever tonight, beating the Mets 17-13. And to top it all off, he got the game ball!

Let a proud parent bask in the joy of seeing him yell "Yes! Yes! Yes!" over and over again.

Awesome. Nothing's better than the first victory! And the game ball too? Very cool.

I heard Alley got it on
    .

He even made an appearance at about the 7:15 mark. He's wearing the No. 2 jersey.

Dang. I always figured AlleyAllen laid off the sugars and fats a bit more than that No. 2 fella ;)

That's pretty sweet AA. Enjoy it, maybe with an ice cream or Lil' Man's favorite treat. Is he too young to enjoy a celebratory double-shot of Jack Root Beer Float?

Complete with an eight-inch story and photos of Little Man, I hope!

Wow, I'm surprised some hippie liberal parent didn't whine about keeping score.

17-13? They play at Yankee Stadium or something?

No. If they did, the score would be 27-3.

You guys keep score in tee-ball?

My son has some big shoes to fill. He plays for the Yankees and wears No. 3.

I was a bad Aunt Liesl tonight and completely missed the game and his first-ever win. But then again, knowing how I tend to jinx teams, it's very possible they won because I wasn't there.

Congrats, AA and Little Man. I wish I had been there to see it. :'(
