Fitting, given that 6 was his Wonderlic score.

apparently you get 8 points for spelling your name correctly, so a score of 6 sounds accurate for Vince Young

Vince Young is maturing, at least to the extent that he isn't hinting at suicide when things aren't going his way this time.

Jeff Fisher is still living off Steve McNair's legacy. .500 record, no playoff wins since 2003. He gots to GO.

The owner could very well decide he likes Vince Young more than Jeff Fisher, and if he decides that's the way to go, Fisher would be out of work for about 60 seconds.

Curious how this would taint Fisher's legacy. Granted, he's never won a title, but as someone else pointed out, Fisher would have another job in days. Jerry Jones would fire Jason Garrett so quickly it would make his head spin if he thought he could hire Fisher.

There are times when I would say a HC has to handle his star QB with kid gloves to keep him happy. McDaniels and Cutler comes to mind. This is not similar, Vince Young is a head case, a real coach killer. If the owner is committed to Young, if I'm Fisher, I'm begging to be fired.

Not that that superannuated jackass Adams will see this, but the equation is obvious. If he picks Young over Fisher, the Titans won't be able to hire a coach anywhere near as good as Fisher as a replacement. Only an idiot or desperate guy who'll accept any situation to put "head coach" on his resume would enter a situation where he is dependent on and subservient to a quarterback who has severe emotional issues.

I love you man, but this obsession is kind of scary.

There have been a few coaches in recent years who have tried to get rid of a QB that the owner supported over them and they basically begged to get fired. Jim Mora Jr. and Steve Mariucci come to mind.

That would be awesome if Jeff Fisher replaced Wade Phillips in Dallas, since Fisher's career was made by the luckiest trick play in history against Phillips' Buffalo Bills.
