The Wilton Villager and The Stamford Times, two weekly newspapers in Fairfield County Connecticut, have an immediate opening for a sports editor. This is a solid entry position for a recent college graduate with experience in sports writing and Quark. It’s also is a good position for an experienced sports writer ready to run his or her own show. The successful candidate must be willing to work hard, juggle multiple assignments and manage a team of freelancers. The Wilton Villager and the Stamford Times have a combined circulation of 30,000. Please e-mail resume, clips, page samples and cover letter to Editor Jerrod Ferrari at jferrari@thehour.com

The subject head is a little misleading. You're not writing for the daily, you're writing for weeklies owned by the daily.
  3. Also, on that salary you'd probably have to live in Bridgeport.

    What is Bridgeport like?
  5. Well, a friend's family sponsored a kid from Save the Children and checked "area with most need" and got a kid from Birdgeport. True story.
