Being pretty credibly replaced by a Filipino guy on Youtube has to count against Perry in this battle, doesn't it?

There's probably a Filipino guy on YouTube who can sing "At Last" well enough to drive Etta James' corpse to tears. That doesn't make it any more than karaoke. The difficult part is coming up with how to sing a part in the first place.

I was attempting to be funny there. As much as I hate Journey, I recognize Perry's talent. Even if I maintain that Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' is one of the worst songs ever recorded.

I doubt Journey would even make The Hall of Pretty Good.

That's my exact view. Steve Perry's voice is about the only good thing Journey had going for it.

Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' "one of the worst songs ever recorded"?

I'm not going to say it's an all-time song, but it's a pretty damn good song.

Journey wasn't creative enough to come up with one of the worst songs of all time.

Steve Perry was at his best with "Oh, Sherrie"

Wouldn't mind hearing Cornell belt that out.

Dear Lord, lets just add Richard Marx and make it a shit trifecta.

Cornell is at his best in Like A Stone:

Steve Perry is to Roger Daltry as Richard Simmons is to Chuck Norris.

I'd say Steve Perry is to Freddie Mercury as Chuck Norris is to Bruce Lee.
