    But then I remembered that Jerry, while a race car driver who drove so goddamned fast, never did win no checkered flag but never did come in last, wrapped himself around a telephone poll and sadly is not eligible for this poll.

    I pondered Belichick, Saban and Coach K and figured it’s a bit harder to have longtime success in the pros than it is in college. But any are good choices.
