    yup. they stopped coming to washington because they filled the west side about 20 years ago.

    Saw plenty of riffraff at the Bellagio a few months back. Maybe bad drunks, or on something, but it was enough to want to go gamble elsewhere.

    Moreover, at this point, Old Vegas is a risk hardly worth taking.

    One of my best friends told me that the job market in Vegas sucks now. But as far as the job market goes, I honestly think in most of the areas where unemployment is high there are a lot of people that may feel they are too good for a certain job.

    No doubt, in many cases, folks are in deep, deep, deep . . . and gigging at Mickey D's isn't going to get them "out".

    Never understood the lure of Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles or anywhere in that part of the world. Too bloody hot, for starters.

    The Southwest is awesome, but you just named my three least-favorite Southwestern cities.
