"In sports talk radio - it's more important to have a strong opinion - even if it's wrong," - JT the Brick on FSR.

    It explains everything.

Touche. Just enough variance for me to get away with it, though.

People being able to choose what they give up for lent. I thought it was meat. Jesus wasn't like, hey, let me choose something random to give up for lent.

No one gives up meat for lent. Well, you can choose to, but it's not a religious mandate. In fact, I'm not certain you know anything at all about the concept of lent.

I think you are jumping to conclusions. I'm Orthodox and I know about lent. Feel free to look that up to see what people like myself give up for lent. It's not by choice.

  9. No meat on Fridays. It used to be no meat at all during Lent. But what do I care? I'm recovering.

I have never followed the meat regulation. It was originally pushed as a way to help Italian fish merchants.

I go out of my way not to follow it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

"Be sure to hire a black guy, they said we needed a color commentator."

Still do a face palm on that one.
