None of them can answer the question that's been asked. Yeah, we need to reduce our wasteful spending; there are fourth-graders who know that. But tell me how YOU are going to do it.

The format is partly to blame; no one can adequately spell out a remedy to the problems in this country in 30 seconds. But I understand that if you don't do anything to shut them up, it would be twice as bad.
