Once I had to pay for my own groceries, I stopped buying name-brand cereal. I'm all about the bulk bags of Cocoa Crunchies. Much cheaper than Cocoa Puffs and just as tasty.

I make due with a clunker rather than splurge on that fancy schmany Corolla -- oops, wrong thread!

Wife and I used our Costco coupons and saved about $50 on cleaning products.

I also noticed that Kroger sent us a book of coupons in the mail, butthey were only for Kroger products. Pretty slick if you ask me.

We also got a food vacuum so when we go to Costco we just stock up on meat and place it in the chest freezer in a garage. Huge savings there.

No doubt. Once you open them, they go flat right away.

I've been buying the sugar sodas (as opposed to HFCS) because I tend to drink them slower, and they're a lot better tasting. So I don't mind not buying a few 12-oz. glass bottles with sugar at a dollar a pop instead of a 12 pack of HFCS soda for $3.

I'm all about Apple Spins and Dr Thunder (I'm not sure if it's the same as Dr Pepper, but I'll take the chance in leaving out the period :D)
