The dangers of walking while texting

    ... or, in this case, walking while checking Facebook. Woman walks straight off a pier in Australia because her head is buried in her phone. As a bonus, she couldn't swim.

    Rescuers got to her before it was too late. She survived -- and so did her phone! Thank God.

    I watched someone who was texting at the grocery store walk right into a door in the frozen foods section.

    Was walking around the mall last week when I noticed a guy walking in my direction with his head buried in his phone. Completely oblivious, so I let him walk right into me.

    Me: Head's up, dipshit.
    Him: /grumble /buries head in phone again

    Good dude.
