Big scoop in the NYT this morning about a planned Super PAC ad campaign this fall that will exploit the President's connections to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, which John McCain refused to do as race-baiting in 2008. According to the plan that the paper obtained, they are looking for a black conservative for the campaign to soften the race-baiting charge. The Super Pac plan says that the last time, Obama presented himself inaccurately as a "metrosexual, black Abe Lincoln."

The Super PAC is funded by Joe Ricketts, father of Tom Ricketts, who is essentially the CEO of the Cubs. The team is owned by the entire Ricketts family, although Joe is not involved with the daily operations.

    Good stuff here.

The Ricketts family . . . whose latest "gift" to the world is Deb Fischer, a looney-tune righty who's just emerged from the Nebraska muck . . . just another reason to hold the Cubs in broad contempt.

At long last the world gets to hear the Michelle Obama "Whitey" tape that is totally real and not at all a figment of Sean Hannity's little mind.

There's something symbolic about this being backed by the owner of the Loveable Losers.

I found this quote to be unintentionally funny:

"He is very concerned about the future direction of the country and plans to take a stand.”

He should be more concerned about the future direction of his baseball team.

It's going to a long pull to reach the inevitable long-term capital gains profits for those guys.

By then, of course, they'll be wel-practiced in the ducking of rotten eggs and fruit.

Cub incompetence . . . avoid it, at all costs.
