Name a better conference, top to bottom, than the SEC.

yes, but under the present system, supposedly "every game counts." and when you lose supposedly is more important than losing itself. michigan lost its last game, the de facto national semifinal, which should mean automatic exclusion from discussion.

a split with ohio state shouldn't make michigan the champ, regardless of where the two games were played. who's to say the buckeyes wouldn't win a third game at michigan?

I want to see Arkansas win this game, just to see the anti-rematch folks huff and puff their way to insanity.

Florida does deserve to go ahead of Florida, but if the Gators lose -- seriously, who's gonna argue for Wake ahead of Michigan?

Looks like Bo's pulling some strings from upstairs.

giving michigan a rematch is like giving indy a rematch against new england in the super bowl - even though the pats beat the colts in the afc conference championship- figuring they're the two best teams.

Well, Verne Lundquist just said the SEC is the toughest conference, top to bottom.

Who knew he surfed SJ while calling games?

Touchdown Arkansas(play is under review, but it's obvious that he scored)

No kidding. But then again, CBS has one college football contract ... with the SEC. All he's watching is the SEC each week and hearing all the "SEC is the best conference in the country" talk that eminates from the south each week, so, it must be true. It's the best conference, not where the best/most loyal/most vocal fans are.

Michigan has one loss, and it happens to be to the No. 1 team in the country. They deserve another shot.

If you saying that a split with Michigan shouldn't make michigan the champ, then lets consider the following: Florida wins tonight and plays Ohio State. Florida then beats Ohio State making Ohio State a one loss team. What makes Florida the champ? They didnt beat Michigan or Louisville who are also one loss teams. As I said before, an arguement for a playoff

florida would've won "the championship game." michigan lost in the semifinals, thus blowing its shot at "the championship game."
