    Anyone watch this tonight?

    Comparisons to the Sopranos are inevitable but I think it'll stand on its own merits.

    Never been to Providence but it had the same feel as Baltimore did in Homicide & The Wire.

    I'm not sure whether the Italian mafia is scarier than the Irish mob.

    In any case, good summer viewing (along with Hustle on CBC Wednesday nights)

    Looked like a thinly veiled dramatization of the Bulger Brothers from South Boston, no? Except that the pol is in Congress and not the state legislature.
