Either that, or he wants them to trade for Harvin or try to sign Wallace, Bowe, Jennings or someone else...

I suspect, he wants Welker back. As he should.

I saw that today. That's insane. I had no idea models made that kinda coin.

A few notes from her Wiki page...

By 2000, her record-breaking $25 million contract with Victoria's Secret helped solidify her status as the world's top model.

In 2012 she made 5,600 appearances in commercials in her native Brazil.

In February 2013 it was announced that she became the face of Chanel's new make-up range, Les Beiges, which campaign was shot by Mario Testino. Her first time ever as a spokesperson of the brand. It was reported later that she beat Rihanna and other celebrities to star in the campaign, being chosen by Karl Lagerfeld himself. Experts estimate that she will be paid $4 million for a six-month contract.

In 2000, Bündchen was dubbed the "Boobs from Brazil" for inspiring the 36,000 breast enhancement surgeries performed that year in Brazil.

In 2001, Bündchen launched Ipanema, her own line of flip-flop sandals. In three years, sales topped $30 million, with a portion of proceeds going to green causes.

According to a stock market analysis in 2007, when Gisele terminated her agreement with Victoria's Secret, which is owned by Limited Brands Inc. (LTD), Limited was selling for $26.80 per share. Soon thereafter, the stock declined to $18.36 per share, a 31.5% drop.

On May 2011, Forbes ranked her as the world's top-earning model for the fifth consecutive time, with an estimated $45 million over the previous 12 months. Her earnings climbed $20 million over the previous year, thanks to an economic boom in Brazil, coupled with a 10 per cent surge in the value of the Brazilian real against the dollar.

Welker has averaged 112 catches a season, or exactly seven a game, in his Pats' career. He'd have to be one of the highest targeted receivers unless he duplicated other guys' routes and stepped in front of them.

Welker would be foolish to leave. Good player, great route runner. But no one thought he was all world when Joey Harrington and Daunte Caulpepper were throwing him balls. He could probably put up good numbers on the turf in New Oleans with Brees, anywhere else and his production drops by a third easy.

Guaranteed money goes from $30M in two seasons to $57M in five. What a fucking altruist Tom Brady is.

Isn't the ideal contract restructuring supposed to serve the interests of both parties?

Yep. And that's what this one did. But the early reports yesterday were noting how far Brady undercut himself because he's a winner who doesn't care about the money and only wants to win and will save mangy puppies if that gives the Patriots a better chance to win. Now it seems like everyone has jumped off that onto a more realistic picture of what happened.

I still don't understand how people can be so snowed in these reports about NFL contracts and the cap manipulations they represent. Donovan McNabb signed a five-year, $78 million contract with the Redskins in November 2010. He was gone less than a year later.

The local TV news coverage here, and all three network stations led with Brady's deal, was hilariously sycophantic. Never before has accepting tens of millions of dollars been such a selfless act. Santa Claus didn't get such good publicity last December.
