I understand there's a Titanic-sized boatload of bitterness, but some professionalism is required

I was looking for a coffee thread when I opened this.

 

I'm sure the good people at the Kennewick Tri-City Herald will be happy to learn they now represent the views of Seattle, several hours away.

And, fwiw, my observation is that Oklahomans seem more sensitive about this issue than anyone. They really don't like people bringing it up.

 

I'm sure they'll be fretting about it all during their championship parade.

 

This weekend's "Frazier" marathon has been canceled as well as all school field trips to Starbucks.

 

Don't use me as a gauge for Oklahomans. I'm a bitter, bitter man. But I love Seattle. They gave me my favorite band and now my favorite NBA team.

 

... and compared to what ESPN kept doing to take swipes at the former Hartford Whalers, this is nothing.

And yeah ... that headline was pretty funny.
