do your darndest to enjoy and digest these next few months and early years. the changes will be coming fast and furious, but documentation (become or have someone close to you become your own 'junior spielberg and 'record, record, record!') will help make it all feel fresh and new. take it from this daddy of 3 sons who have somehow become young men of 22, 19 and 17. 'go to the videotape' as often as you can to serve as a reminder of how you are feeling today... this will all quickly become a blur; the changes will be coming at an impossibly rapid pace. these tapes will bring you back to these feelings whenever you need a refresher. just try to soak in as much as you can -- you don't know it but you're already a far better person right now than you were two days ago. your daughter is all-powerful. she's calling the shots now.

you'll feel like you're living your life all over again. only bigger and better. your beautiful baby girl will be changing by the minute for years to comel you're somewhat prepared for that. just brace yourself for the rapid-fire pace of the changes in yourself. the ride is a magical one.
