    Holy shit, that's gross.

That horn inside the guy's leg looks like Mick Jagger's dick on the Sticky Fingers cover.

No way the bull simply...um... withdrew, either.

He must have torn the whole side of his lower leg away.

    Bulls win! Bulls win!

    That's horrific.

    So ... journalism question:

Would you run it? If so, in color or BW? Front page or inside? With a story or as wild art?

There were a couple other photos on the AP server next to it, looking over the shoulder of a guy with a Spanish newspaper. It was a 6-column picture on the front page, with the headline "Terrorifico!"
Obviously, there may be some cultural differences. But there's no blood in the photo, and it certainly illustrates what is meant by "being gored." I don't know if I'd run it as big as the Spanish paper, but compared to some of the shots that have run from war zones, plane crashes or even wrecks, it's pretty tame.

I don't get the charm of running with the bulls other than to say you did it.

That being said, kudos to the Spanish for still holding an event where people get hurt. We can't even have monkey bars or see-saws on the playgrounds here in the US any more because someone might get a bump or scrape. In that respect, we suck.
