    TWO.

In the whole fucking state of Texas.

Out of more than 10,000 selected for testing.

    It's Texas.

This has to be on the up-and-up like everything else from that Mecca.

Poynter: Hey, why don't you sportswriters write more about high school athletes and steroid use? You're shirking your journalistic duty, you toy-department heathens!

Sportswriters: Here's some results from Texas. Now, do you mind? We have to write 54,651,687,694,131,684,130,165 team capsules for the football preview and deadline is pretty much Monday night.

  4. Well, remember that the first widespread steroid testing of the NFL back in the 1990s found no positives, either.

  5. That's not even a blip compared to the STD results.

I can't wait to see Dick Pound show up at Permian vs. Lee to protest.

I've been told that a team in the DFW area was about 75 percent roided up three seasons ago.
Even the punter and place kicker were taking.

The kicker is, they only test during the school year. They don't test over the summer, when football players can cycle and do their big-time lifting.

The only ones this test is going to catch are the terminally stupid.
