Huston Street does not lie. ...

The Longhorns watched from the dugout as the Titans celebrated for about 10 minutes, said junior pitcher Huston Street.

Once in their locker room, "most of us were crying and spending that time with each other," Street said. "Their was no disrespect on our part. We think they're a deserving champion."

Street probably knew, or at least I hope, that it is 'there' and not 'their.'

Cover the Augie/the Titans for one season for the Daily Titan and didn't have any problems with him. Granted, that was his first Fullerton stint and pushing 20 years ago.

Street didn't print it. The USA Today did. Street knows all.

That "second place trophy snub" was, as I remember it, a simple misunderstanding.
Texas wasn't prepared for how to react in the case of a loss.
No team prepares for that scenario.

    Big misunderstanding, that's all.
