I looked recently for footage of it, but aircraft manufacturers use these huge cannons to shoot (dead) chickens and turkeys at airplane canopies and windshields to test them. Pretty amazing, bizarre stuff.

I'm glad some of you fuckers think this shit's funny.

How would you like it if you hit a deer at 110 MPH tomorrow?

TBF, we laugh at a lot here that wouldn't be funny if happened to one of us. No one's honestly trying to make light of the danger you're in when you're in the air.

Also, I hit a cow once. I'm all for making jokes about running things over with our cars at high rates of speed.

I hit a dog at 45 the other day. A cute one, too. It looked up at me with those big brown eyes and said "Arf! Arf!" with unconditional love as I ran it over.

    Fucker bent my license plate.

If you hit a deer at 110 mph, you'd likely both be dead.

I don't think it's funny at all. I think President Obama should vow to smoke out these rogue terrorist birds.

Charlie: Eh lieutenant, what were you doing there?
    Goose: Communicating.
Maverick: Communicating. Keeping up foriegn relations. You know, giving him the bird!
Goose: [Charlie looks puzzled, so Goose clarifies] You know, the finger
    [gestures apprpriately]
Charlie: Yes, I know the finger, Goose.
Goose: I-I'm sorry, I hate it when it does that, I'm sorry. Excuse me.

I once ran over this dog that had been given to an old woman after her husband died. She pulled off on the side of the highway and let it out to pee, and it was running around on the road.

You hit some dogs, and you run over some dogs. I ran over this dog.

    I felt bad.

A friend of mine used to drive a Geo Metro. He was driving to school one day, going about 25-30 and hit a dog. He pulled over.

Dog runs off. His car had noticeable damage to the front bumper.

Driving down the road one day in college with both driver's and passenger side windows open.

I see a pheasant/chuckar or some other large game bird flying across the field toward me and as it gets closer I start to realize we were on a collision course. I slow down -- stupidly, it turns out -- and the bird flies through the passenger window, through the car and out the driver's side window. I look out and see his bird ass still going like nothing ever happened. Scared himself shitless in the process, blasting the whole inside of the car -- and me -- with excrement.

Not making it up, honestly ...
