I hope Jethro Bodine is giddy over his offseason acquisition.

Owens should demonstrate a milligram of character (a real challenge for a man with his mental aptitude) and renounce his contract and walk away from football. Give up the money? Sheesh. Some fucktard shock video producer will make him an icon.

But at least he'll be with the refuse he needs to be with.

Couldn't have happened to a better team.

    Except for maybe the Viqueens.

We're not surprised by it; it's just notable that this will be the first time that they've done something documentable to show that they're pissed off. The Parcells order to practice doesn't count, because he denied it.

And will it make any difference? 'Course not.

I'm starting to believe that TO has gotten involved in some shady influence that will use him to influence game and season outcomes. And this is one of those ways of doing it. Either that, or they're threatening him physicallly NOT to play or else.

uh, right. that makes sense because he's never been like this before -- he's always been mr. reliable, mr. normal and mr. quiet. no tony soprano is threatening him with anything. the guy's got mental issues. i'm not saying he's insane but there are a couple of screws slightly loose up there.

This guy is a complete asshole, he should have to spend a few days wandering the streets of Baghdad alone.

Trouble is, he's an unbelievable player on those occasions he feels like doing so, one of 15-20 real difference-makers in pro football. Too bad he hates all authority figures, starting with quarterbacls. Think Garcia and McNabb have found something to bond over at training camp?

Cannot WAIT to listen to LeBapologist tomorrow on the radio.

It will be Maytag-quality spin cycle.

I really thought that Owens would come out of the box red hot as a fuck-you to the Eagles.

Maybe he'd lead the Cowboys to an 8-0 or 7-1 start to the season before exploding in flames when Bledsoe does his annual second half of the season collapse.

But it looks like he's well down the path to self-destruction again, this time before the season starts.

Couldn't happen to a bigger asshole nicer guy than Owens and a more looser fan boy astute judge of character than Jones.

jones and parcells should just cut t.o.'s sorry ass right now. it won't happen, but it would be oh-so sweet. 8) 8) 8)

Doesn't it seem as if there's no other resolution BUT to cut his sorry ass?

Aren't they off the hook for his 2006 salary if they cut him before the first game?

Coming soon to the Eastern Indoor Football League: T.O.
