Just watched it on Youtube. Painful to see her walking.

I dind't know that about Garr. So sorry.

And the scene I thought of too was the "roll, roll, roll in the hay." She was marvelous in that movie. Her best one yet. (Though the partly dressed young Garr in Tootsie is pretty swell too.)

    I wish her the best.

My mom has MS, and it can be painful to see her try to walk (she's mostly in a wheelchair) and sometimes talk (it eats at so many neurons that it's wildly unpredictable), but she (and I, by extension) have always been fans of Teri Garr (they are the same age) and how she has carried herself. She and Letterman would have made a great couple if the timing had been right.

For the non-Trekkies in the crowd, she was in an episode of Star Trek where the crew of the Enterprise traveled back in time to 1968. A very young Teri Garr was in the episode and stole the show. That episode (the one with Gary Seven) was supposed to be a pilot of sorts for a series with Garr and the Gary Seven character, but it never happened.

That's a shame, I think it would have been a huge hit.

I do wish her the best, she always struck me as one of the good ones.

She still looks pretty good all things considered, and still funny as hell. But scroll down and watch the clip of her on Letterman from the 80's WOW!!! She was smokin HOT in that!!

    For the Young Frankenstein fans:

(Roll in the Hay is at 7 minutes, the knockers line is at 8:40)
