Tennessee Sludge Spill (Not a Phil Fulmer Joke)

    This sounds awful. The estimate of how much of this breached the retention basin is now three times the original number.

    I believe the TVA's legal team is going to be very busy in the months and years ahead.

    My dad's favorite joke to play on me as a kid during car trips to Knoxville and beyond. How I fell for it more than once in a row is beyond me.

    "Son, which two smoke stacks are the furthest apart."

    Pause while I gaze intently, then spit out a random answer.

    "Nope, it's the ones on each end."
