Teens killed tobogganing on bobsled track

Lots of heart break in my community this morning. EMS said they can't identify 2 of the kids because their injuries are so bad.

I had joked with my wife about doing this before. So sad to see so teenage hi-jinx go horribly wrong.

That's horrible.

And I could easily see myself and some of my buddies trying something like this back in high school.

 

Are teens doing this common but the gate being up what's uncommon?

 

Not sure if it's a common teen occurrence. The track is easily accessible. I have walked by the track many times and never noticed the gate, never looked for it either.

ETA. Turns out the boys killed were twin brothers. Just awful.
