Tech help needed - feeling like an idiot

    GoogleDrive only gives you 5GB, I need 30+ GB.

    You can buy space for like 5 or 10 bucks. It's really a great service. Everything is private unless you choose otherwise, and you can access the drive on any device if you've downloaded the app.

    Xan - Once set up does Google docs automatically update as files are added and changed on computer hard drive?

    Just tried -- no.

    But everything auto-updates when you work out of Drive.

    So for example if you change an excel file while working on drive it will automatically change on hard drive as well?

    I guess the really answer would be to work in google docs.

    If you work on a document in Drive, it automatically updates -- but not on a document you downloaded to your desktop. Another reason to work in Drive.
