Pastorini made a Pro Bowl and was thisclose to two Super Bowls.

Flutie was awesome. He proved it more times than he needed to.

I'll admit it would have been fun to see what he could have done if he got a legit shot in his mid-20s instead of his late-30s. I think he would have proved to be limited. But 1998 was fun to watch. Especially sans the piety from a giant segment of his fans.

His throwing was brutal last week too, except that the ones he completed went for a bunch of yards.

So except for the passes he completed and the touchdowns and the game-winner and shit, he sucked. I totally agree.

Berman swinging from Flutie's nutsack is worse than one million self-righteous Tebow evangies...

You could say the same thing about Blaine Gabbert. You said nothing.

What I'm saying is he's 10-for-21, which is below average, but average for him. The only difference between this 10-for-21 and a typical Tebow performance is there were 4-5 big gains that accounted for the majority of his yards.

If 10-for-21 for 300 yards is normal for him, then I'd say he's a downfield passer. But he doesn't complete passes down the field normally, so you'd have to think this is an anomaly.

Like I posted the other day, he played better than I've seen him play because he made 4-5 good passes down the field for big gains, but he didn't redefine himself or anything like that.

Blaine Gabbert threw for 300 yards and two long touchdowns to win a playoff game against the league's top-ranked defense? Shit, how'd I miss that?

Wait a minute, is this sarcasm, or not?

I mean, someone can't seriously be criticizing a qb, and write that, correct?
