Does any of this happen if he simply types "I object to gay marriage"?

    Essentially :)

    No.

But, does how he said it really matter that much?

He basically said, "I think it's icky and the Bible says I'm right."

So, people are more offended because he said why he's against it?

I don't know. Personally, I'd prefer not to know my teacher's thoughts on this, or my burger guy's objections to the Air & Water Show.

I think avoiding the term "cesspool" probably would have saved him a lot of grief.

Pretty strong stuff to see written out like that.

    How about

    "Your love is a cesspool"?

    Wait, what?

Seriously, or did I not get the joke?

There are plenty of private Christian schools this man would be welcomed at, but I'm sure he wouldn't welcome the pay and pension cuts that come with that job.

I just said what this teacher said.

Sort of a punch to the gut to see it written out, isn't it?

OK. I guess I did miss the joke. It's from his post.

Yeah, it's a really dumb thing to say.

And, he not only said he's against it, he talked about how disgusting it was to him.

Sadly, a lot of people still agree with him.

Not a joke, really, just trying to illustrate a point.

And you don't actually make me want to vomit.
