I don't know if this was mentioned, but I love that there's no goddam stupid music playing at Target. Silence is golden.

I'm with Pilot on the Wal-Mart clientele, too.

    The Target Tingle. Live it!

Target Tingle! Do the dressing room doors have locks?

I am perfectly happy with Target, but I must say their TV commercials are weird and plasticky. Hate 'em.

If you work in newspapers, understand that Wal-Mart generally does not advertise (except at Xmas time) while Target does. Support those businesses that support you.

There is a Wal-Mart insert pretty much every Sunday in my home town.

Wal-Mart only advertises in certain markets, or until they drive the competition out of business.

In my hometown, they had ads in every week, until they put K-Mart out of business. Haven't run an ad since.

    Shop at Target.

Target has at times done away with the weekly ad and put it entirely on their web site. Doesn't happen very often, but maybe one week every six months it does.

Since summer is coming up, I'm going to try and do most of my shopping at places like this:

I dunno, dude, putting K-Mart out of business is the best reason to shop Wal-Mart I've heard today.
