Two or three semi trucks crashed into a bridge. One of them was diesel hauler.

A fire truck may have also fallen into the expressway as the fire collapsed a bridge that was going over the expressway.

And it's spewing toxic gas into the air.

Oh, this also happened about a mile from where a house exploded today. Wtf?

Local television stations are calling this fire "hell on earth."

I haven't seen a lot of fires, but this thing is fucking crazy.

Let it burn and collect the insurance.

It started an hour ago, and you can still see a grocery store semi truck sticking out of the rubble half-charred. News station just said the tanker was carrying 9,000 gallons of gas.

My dad's down that way. I just talked to him. He said news is reporting two trucks (one of them a tanker carry 9,000 gallons of fuel) involved in an accident in which the tanker exploded.

It happened under the 9 Mile Road overpass above the northbound 1-75 lanes. The fire then caused the bridge to collapse down onto the trucks and cars involved in the original crash.

CNN's got nothing on TV right now. I can't find any footage on TV where I'm at. But WXYT's site has some footage.

There's also a gas line under the expressway.

That's right. My dad told me that, too. And there's a gas station right above the 1-75 on 9 Mile Road.

The driver made it out of the truck. Motorist said he made it to the grass on the side of the road. Said it took about four minutes for the truck to explode after it flipped.

My grandmother lived about 4-5 miles from here (just the other side of 13 Mile, right off 75). Scary ass stuff. Hope the toxicity doesn't turn out to be a problem.

When I was driving on Nine Mile a few weeks back there were two gas stations on the west side of 75, a Mobil on the southwest corner and an Exxon on the northwest corner.

I'm starting to think it can't be toxic or else people would be dropping dead right now. There are hundreds of people lining the streets watching the fire burn right now.
