    Thank God Peter Alliss is off the telecast. What a bore. Hey Pete, we know that hitting the ball straight is still a good thing in golf. And there is no skill in today's game? I call bullshit. Sorry that Seve is no longer with us and that you're 175 years old and long for the days of Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and your best friend who invented the game.

    Boring or not, it just doesn't feel like the Open without talk of "level par" and some no-name Dutchman putting "fuh buuuuuuhhhdie."

    Philly had his chance to win his Open last year. I'll say he misses the cut by a comfortable margin.
