    Wow. Learn something new. I knew "caddy/catty corner" was a colloquialism of catercorner, but had no idea that "kitty korner" had derived from that. Never heard the phrase used before.

    I've always said kitty, but my parents say caddy/catty (can't tell which; never asked). And we all grew up in Chicago.

    Weird.
