T-minus 45 minutes (Plus 365 days) + three years later

In 45 minutes I'm going to meet a girl for a blind date.
I have never been on a blind date before, so that should be interesting.
The girl doing the setting up isn't a meddler, she's actually never set me up before.
When she was making the pitch, she told me, she had never seen two people more perfect for each other.
No pressure.
It turns out we have all kinds of mutual friends and others think that this might actually work.
I just about wish IJAG or Sportschick lived in my town and would show up at the Bonefish Grill, find me and make a huge scene about how I haven't paid my child support.
Hilarious.
In other news, I'm a little nervous.

I met the Grandpa on a blind date four years ago.

He was funny, cool and we chatted for hours at a coffee shop. Then he stood up, reached down and showed "it" to me.

It worked for him, so give it a shot.

You can take the edge off by yanking your chain before the date. Know someone who dates a lot and says it works for him.

OK, I officially don't care about Jay's blind date, but my interest in Granny's blind date is growing exponentially.
