From Sunday's WaPost story about the Nationals moving their AAA affiliation to the Syracuse Chiefs ...

The fail is strong with this one.

I'd still argue that he's a better GM than his parent club's counterpart.

    Sirs, Madames,

Maybe the guy in Syracuse will make a trip to the capital of Canada with a couple of statesmen--okay, maybe one statesman--and visit our distinguished former prime minister. (Check approx. the 1:40 mark and the 2:50 mark.)

If you think Syracuse lost out big time in the AAA affiliation shuffle, imagine how Las Vegas must feel: They lost the Dodgers to Albuquerque and had to enter into a shotgun marriage with the other-side-of-the-continent-and-border Blue Jays.

Actually, you don't have to imagine how the Vegas people feel, they sound so enthusiastic in this story: http://www.lvrj.com/sports/29233289.html
