Swarms of earthquakes at Yellowstone ... which could be a Really Bad Thing

    Depends on the magnitude, obviously.

    Regardless, if Yellowstone ever blows, the ash and debris will cover a good chunk of the country. I'm in Louisville and chances are (if the jet stream is right) that ash could fall here a day or two later.

    If the jet stream is right, it could also destroy most of the crops in the grain belt.

    He'd survive and move the team to Yellowstone.

    But if it blows in the winter, just a lot of dirty snow in Omaha. Another factor to consider.

    Glad I visited the park a year ago. Old Faithful was kind of fun.

    Now I'm having morbid but funny thoughts about Yellowstone tourists being preserved, as per Vesuvius and Pompeii, in their moment of demise, and becoming statues for perpetuity.
